Just a plain old rounchy drink, not for the beginners.
At first it is nice and cool and relaxes you, then the fire!!

Good to ease those sweltering southwest summer days on the veranda; my good friend Julio, not stocked with his old standby Bourbon, concocted a variation on the Mint Julip that is now legendary. The recipe below calls for one drink but for those days when you have guests you can make the drink in a large pitcher and serve as you watch the sun go down.
Start by getting some of the mint leaves (to taste), the sugar, the hot water and placing it in a pint glass where you then mash it into a pulp. Fill glass with ice. Add Tequila, soda water, and squeeze in the lime. Stir vigorously and then strain into a martini glass. Add a mint leaf as garnish. Refreshing!

This cocktail was invented in a bar in Oxford that has cocktails happy hours, by 2 people who were rather drunk at the time... myself and a chap called Mark Alliban.
Top with grapefruit juice.
This sounds incredibly bitter, but is in actual fact not too bad. The alcohol masks the other tastes, so it's just quite tangy!! Don't have too many of them though...
First you fill the glass with tequila, lemon and salt. Then you fill with the Squirt, cover the glass and slam it over the table. Because it will produce a lot of bubbles, you need to drink it quickly while one friend is closing your nose. After you finish there comes the danger: your friends shake your head after an before they turn you upside-down.
Best taken with a bucket handy.

An excellent drink, but like the name, it has a bite!
IN MEXICO WE CALL "CABALLITO" TO A SMALL GLASS, ABOUT 1 OR 2 OUNCES (LIKE THE ONES THE COWBOYS DRANK WHISKEY). FILL UP ONE "CABALLITO" WITH TEQUILA. VERY SLOWLY PUT IT INSIDE A LARGE GLASS, TRYING NOT TO POUR INSIDE IT, SO THE GLASS CAN CONTAIN THE CABALLITO WITH THE TEQUILA UPSIDE DOWN. SLOWLY POUR THE BEER INTO THE GLASS, TRYING NOT TO MIX THETEQUILA WITH THE BEER. DRINK IT IN ONLY ONE ZIP. YOU`LL NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU`LL GET THE TEQUILA.
Mix the salt on the Squirt and add tequila.
Stir well, and drink carefully!
